Is our next boom for real estate at the bottom of the oceans?

What was once a dream is becoming a reality. There are already hotels planned for several locations that will be under water. The first is Hydropolis which is being developed off Dubai in the Persian Gulf. It will consist of 220 rooms and is to be the first underwater hotel. The hotel features a missile system to protect against terrorist attacks (gee…sounds like a great place to take the family..lol).

Next will be the Poseidon Mystery Island which will be a 200 million dollar development of the coast of Fiji. While it will be much smaller and almost twice as expensive than a stay at the Hydropolis but it will provide 24 hour views of Fiji’s spectacular reefs.

The 21st century will bring a whole new ocean of opportunity.
